Pilgrimage to Częstochowa
August 3 –14, 2010
Once again, this year, there will be the traditional pilgrimage to Jasna Góra (August 3-14) proposed by the Movement to students who have just finished high school or university. Over 1,200 young people will leave Italy for Częstochowa, as a gesture of personal offering to Our Lady at this significant moment in their lives.
The walk, guided by Fr. Luis Miguel Hernandez, starts in Cracow and winds along over 96 miles, ending at the sanctuary where the icon of the Black Madonna is conserved and venerated, and where the pilgrims will kneel and entrust everything to her.
You will find Fr. Julián Carrón’s message to the pilgrims below.
